SUMMARY:2026 Hackathon | AutoHACK 2.0
DESCRIPTION:Join us for AutoHACK 2.0 – a  hackathon where Georgian College students innovate\, collaborate\, and compete for over $5K in prizes.\n\n\nAutoHACK is back and bigger than ever! Georgian College and Honda are once again putting the pedal to the metal to accelerate innovation in the automotive industry. This hackathon is an opportunity for Georgian College students from across faculties to demonstrate their creativity and passion for problem-solving to one of the largest and most dynamic employers in the region. \nThis year’s hackathon will take place over 2 days: \n\nDay 1: March 6th from 3pm -8pm\nDay 2: March 7th from 9am – 8pm\n\nOver these 2 days\, you will work in interdisciplinary teams alongside industry experts to explore and experiment with solutions to a real-world challenge in the automotive sector. The location of the hackathon is the Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre (N Building) at Georgian College’s Barrie Campus. \nIn the lead up to the hackathon\, you will have the opportunity to join a guided tour of Honda’s Alliston plant to learn about the tech and team culture that drives Honda. The lessons you gain and the connections you make there will set you up for success at the hackathon. Transportation and food will be provided.
