She is responsible for planning and implementation of corporate partnership projects including the highly prestigious VISA’s She’s Next $10K grant for women entrepreneurs and has led the national expansion for YSpace’s women entrepreneur focussed program (ELLA). \nWith over 20 years of experience spread over startup consulting\, hospitality\, education and media\, Marlina has significant expertise in leading high-performance teams to accelerate the growth journey for startups. Marlina has served on the advisory board of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship’s initiative to build sustainable entrepreneurial campus ecosystem across 500 universities and academic institutes pan India. She is a mentor to early-stage startups and advises on business models\, value proposition and GTM strategies. Currently\, as the Program Manager at Newcomer Kitchen\, she empowers newcomer women through the innovative IRCC-funded “Willing To Work Food Entrepreneurship Training Program” to start their own food businesses. She works as a full-time Educator and Entrepreneurship Coach for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)\, is a facilitator for Rise and holds a Peer Support Certification. Iman is also a fourth-generation certified Yoga and Meditation Practitioner with her own wellness platform\, YogaVedaIman. \nIman’s commitment to frontline work earned her a nomination as one of six Mental Health Heroes chosen from a nationwide search featured in Reader’s Digest’s Heroes of Mental Health. In 2022\, the CMHA recognized Iman’s impact with the ‘We Are More Award.’ Currently\, she is nominated for the Women’s Empowerment Award\, presented by Rogers\, for her dedication to diversity\, equality and inclusion.
