SUMMARY:Session 2: Name Your Price – What is Your Business Worth?
DESCRIPTION:Discover how businesses are valuated and how to improve the value of yours with the guidance of Yohaan Thommy of MNP.\n\n\nDoes your business have value? Do you have a number in mind? Valuating a business can be a complex process and is usually done by a business valuator\, but before you begin the sale process\, it is helpful to have an idea of your business’s worth. Join Yohaan Thommy from MNP as he walks you through the process of determining what your business may be worth and how to maximize its value. \n \nThis workshop is most useful if you have your financial statements available to reference throughout the session so you can work through the exercise with your own numbers. Time will be allocated for you to run your own calculations. You will not be sharing this information with the facilitator or other participants. If you would like to calculate an estimation of your businesses’ value\, be sure to bring along three to five years of financial statements. It will be important to know your annual profit\, earnings before interest\, tax\, depreciation\, and amortization\, and your salary. \n \nContent:\n\nValuation Methods – How the numbers are crunched\nValuation Exercise – A guided exercise in calculating your own business’s worth.\nBuilding Value – What you can do to improve your valuation.

SUMMARY:Marketing and Sales
DESCRIPTION:Marketing & Sales\n\n\nUnlike a business plan\, a marketing plan focuses on getting and keeping customers; it’s strategic and includes numbers\, facts and objectives. A good marketing plan spells out all the tools and tactics you’ll use to achieve your sales goals. It identifies what you’ll sell\, who’ll want to buy it and the tactics you’ll use to generate leads that result in sales. Without it\, your marketing efforts could be wasted or money could be spent in the wrong channels. Learn to successfully create and implement marketing techniques and sales strategies\, personal promotions\, advertising materials that create connections and focus on what your business has to offer. Learn how to handle objections and set targets and goals and measure the effects of your efforts. \nPlease note: Registered participants will be provided with a Zoom link and login information in a separate email prior to the session.
