DESCRIPTION:Having issues with the WSIB? The Office of the Employer Adviser can help you!   For more than 35  years\, the Office of the Employer Adviser (OEA) has helped Ontario employers with their workplace safety and insurance claims and related costs. They provide expert legal advice to any size employer and represent primarily employers who employ fewer than 100 workers. Our legal services are confidential\, and you will never be charged a fee because the OEA is funded through the premiums or administrative fees you pay to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). \nSummary of key takeaways: The OEA’s services are free and confidential\, and they can:•    Help you complete a Form 7 if your worker has an accident•    Assist in getting your injured worker back to work as soon as possible•    Review your worker’s claim to WSIB benefits and provide advice•    Explain a WSIB decision•    Object to a WSIB decision and represent you in a WSIB/WSIAT hearing •    Represent you in a worker appeal•    Help you deal with an audit by the WSIB \nAs an independent agency of the Ministry of Labour\, Immigration\, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD)\,  services are available throughout Ontario. \nHosted by Enterprise Renfrew County in partnership with Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation\, which is funded by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).  Sponsored by the Town of Petawawa\, Township of Laurentian Valley\, Perri-Rae Boell & Associates Inc.\, Northern Credit Union\, and City of Pembroke.
