SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn: Brand Power
DESCRIPTION:How to stand out in a crowded market- a 1-hr branding and marketing webinar.\n\n\nSmall and mid-size businesses often overlook the importance of their brand as a foundational \naspect of their sales and marketing strategy. Failing to clearly define their brand results in \ndisjointed sales and marketing efforts that lack a cohesive and unambiguous message. \nHowever\, by establishing a clear and well-defined brand\, businesses can effectively \ncommunicate their value to customers\, articulate their commitment to delivering on their \npromises\, and differentiate themselves from competitors. \n \nMonty Sharma’s brand session focuses on how businesses can create and build their brand. \n \nThe session will focus on: \n• What is a brand? There are many misconceptions about a brand\, chief among them \nthat a brand is simply a logo. The focus for this talk is that a logo is but one element of a \nbrand\, and prior to designing a logo\, a business should explore in depth what their brand \nrepresents\, its value\, and how is it different from the competition. \n• Why branding matters? Your brand strategy is the bedrock on which all your sales \nand marketing is based on\, if you can’t clearly articulate your brand\, how can your sales \nand marketing team persuade prospective customers? \n• How do you build a brand? In this section\, we explore concepts related to building a \nstrong brand strategy including identifying target audiences\, messaging\, and positioning. \n \nA summary of the presentation with key takeaways will be sent to all those who register. \n \nAbout Monty: \nMonty Sharma is an experienced sales and marketing consultant who works with C-Level \nexecutives to digitally transform businesses and drive growth by integrating marketing and \ntechnology. He helps small and mid-size businesses define their sales and marketing strategy \nand create a growth roadmap. Having created an online marketplace (eCommerce platform) \n for small food manufacturers and producers\, he has a strong understanding of the challenges \nthatbusinesses face in navigating the digital landscape. He is passionate about working with \nbusinesses to help them transform for the digital age by better utilizing strategy and \ntechnologyto drive business growth. In addition\, to his own consulting practice \n March Endeavours\, Monty has been a trustedconsultant to the BDC working with clients \nacross Ontario as well as Canada.
