Starter Company Plus is a great opportunity for enterprising people over 18 years of age who want to start or expand a business in their community. The program provides you with:
- Training and business skills development to help to run or grow your own busines
- Advice and mentorship from local business leaders
- A grant of up to $5000 to help you start a new business or expand your current business
- Experience running a business that will better position you to obtain more traditional financing, such as a bank loan, if you so require in the future
