At the SBEC, we’re lucky to have a great team of staff to support the events and programs that we run. Tim Newton, Don Bourne, Meghan Harwood, and Gayle Draper work hard to support our clients and their businesses.
To celebrate her recent success, we will be profiling one of our hard-working staff members, Gayle Draper.
Entrepreneurial passion drives the success of Gayle’s business, Intentional Careers and Human Resources. For the last four years, Gayle has brought her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to the SBEC’s programs. She has built the mentoring facet of our Starter Company Plus program by implementing a structured guide for mentors, recruiting from a robust mentor pool, and coaching for mentoring skills. She has worked with over 50 businesses, and trained mentees and mentors on techniques and tools for entrepreneurial success.
Recently, Gayle received two nominations with Career Professionals of Canada. She was nominated for ‘Outstanding Career Professional’ and ‘Outstanding Community Outreach Strategist’, and won the latter award for her work in private practice. She has been recognized nationally for designing, implementing and delivering collaborative community-based projects that impact people locally, with effective education plans, successful career transitions and customized mentoring programs. Congratulations, Gayle!
As a member of the Forbes Coaching Council, the Career Directors International Education Committee, and the Navy SEAL foundation, Gayle dedicates her time and energy to international support groups, with a focus on helping people in South Georgian Bay.
