Hands-On with QuickBooks: Learn the Essentials

This is a hands-on, in-person session to walk you through the process getting QuickBooks working for your business. Michele Craig from BookSmarts will offer practical tips that you can implement right away and get you saving time.
This workshop will use sample company data to walk you through a variety of bookkeeping scenarios so you are ready to tackle them on your own.
You will learn how to:
- Put together an effective bookkeeping plan
- Use time-saving features like bank connections and receipt scanning
- Generate helpful and reliable reports
- Manage QuickBooks settings to enable the features you need and disable the ones you don’t
- Prepare for your HST return
- Avoid common bookkeeping errors
This session is limted to 20 people to ensure everyone gets the support needed to set up this program.
Important Information:
You will need to bring your own Windows, Mac, or Chromebook laptop to this session as you will be working through the process with Michele. Tablets and smartphones will not work well for QuickBooks Online.
