AI for Non-Technical Business Owners [In-Person]

Description
Maybe you’ve used AI to clean up an email or fix a bit of writing. It worked fine, but you’re not sure where else it fits, and you don’t have time to go figure it out.
That’s exactly who this is for. We’ll start with the basics in plain language: what AI actually is, what it can and can’t do for a small business, and how to use it without putting your business at risk. Then we build. You’ll set up your own AI tool, load it with what it needs to know about your business, and hand it a real task before you walk out the door.
One thing to be clear about. This session is for owners who are serious about putting AI to work, not for dabbling. AI makes the work easier, but it doesn’t replace the systems underneath it. Come ready to build something you’ll actually use.
What you’ll walk out with:
- A clear picture of what AI can actually do for your business, and what it can’t
- The know-how to give AI the right context so it knows your business and doesn’t sound like AI wrote it
- Your own AI tool, built live in the room, step by step
- Review of two simple tools you can add to your arsenal that save hours every week
- The Small Business AI Toolkit, yours to keep
Your host is Youssef Botros, founder of GRND Consulting. Youssef isn’t a tech person, he’s an operator. He was employee #1 at Mobile Klinik, where he built the processes, systems and training that grew the company to 90+ locations before its $165M acquisition by Telus. Today he helps Main Street businesses eliminate chaos and owner-dependency by installing systems made for growth.
What to bring
A laptop and a paid Claude subscription. The Pro plan is $20 USD per month and that’s all you need. Just subscribe before you arrive, that’s it. We’ll do the setup together in the room, so there’s nothing to prepare.
