The session will also allow the community to come together and build meaningful bonds and relationships amongst other entrepreneurs in the room. Amisha Moorjani, a visionary in the culinary world, is the President and Founder of The Food Quotient. With a fervent dedication to promoting health and wellness, her company specializes in vegan, plant-based, and halal cuisine through takeout, catering and meal delivery services.

Amisha’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Foods & Nutrition, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and culminated in an MBA in Information Systems Management. It was during her undergraduate studies that she uncovered scientific evidence supporting her belief and personal experience in the healing properties of wholesome food. Her passion for utilizing food as a tool for building immunity and preventing diseases inspired her mission to make nutritious dining accessible to all.

Driven by her desire to offer diverse culinary experiences for families in today’s global setting, The Food Quotient proudly boasts the tagline, “Local food for the global mind.” Leveraging her background in international corporate career in banking, Amisha has successfully merged her educational expertise with her corporate experience to realize her vision of reintroducing Canadians to the joys of simple, healthy, and locally-sourced cuisine, enhanced with a fusion of global spices and flavours.
