Elevating Women Entrepreneurs Through Inclusive Talent Strategies

From inclusive hiring to growth strategies, learn how to embed DEI in every step to build equitable workplaces.

This session will explore practical strategies to build inclusive and equitable workplaces. We will take a closer look at how women entrepreneurs and employers can reimagine their hiring processes to expand candidate pipelines and avoid systemic barriers.

This event will cover onboarding practices that foster a sense of belonging, and approaches to growth and performance that are equitable. Participants will walk away with actionable tools to review their job postings, recruitment channels, and interview processes through a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) lens.

We will conclude with a Q&A where attendees can share challenges and receive practical solutions.

Speaker Bio:

Street Haven at the Crossroads is a Toronto-based multi-service women’s organization providing housing, employment, addiction recovery, and training services. For over 60 years, we have supported women facing multiple barriers, helping them gain stability and build brighter futures. Through programs like the Inclusion Project, we work with employers to promote equitable hiring practices and meaningful opportunities for women.
