Intellectual Property Essentials

Every small business has its unique selling points. It could be the name, the brand, the products, or the way you do things. This free workshop, hosted by our friends at the Grey Count Small Business Enterprise Centre, will show you how and why intellectual property (IP) matters to your business. Felix Yuen, IP & Commercialization Advisor from Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre, will share tips about how to protect your brands, innovative ideas, creative content and the secret sauce of your business. Bring your questions and be ready for some practical advice to help protect your business interactions with clients, partners and competitors.

Our facilitator:

Felix Yuen is the IP & Commercialization Advisor at Henry Bernick Entrepreneurship Centre, with the focus to develop and deliver programs that strengthen the IP knowledge and capabilities of the community. He is an IP consultant and practicing lawyer, and has international experience in IP management and monetization strategies.
