Speaker Bio:
Michelle Christmann is a passionate advocate for the co-operative sector, currently serving as Education Manager at the Ontario Co-operative Association, where she is responsible for the organization and oversight of all co-operative education programming. Prior to her current role, Michelle worked with Gay Lea Foods as Coordinator of their Co-operative Education Centre and Dairy Museum in Aylmer, Ontario. Michelle was introduced to the co-operative business model more than 12 years ago while working for a credit union in Eastern Ontario, where she eventually took on the role of Community Relations Officer. Michelle has become a champion of co-operative education, introducing the co-operative business model to thousands of students throughout Ontario, as well as creating various educational and professional development programs for elementary and secondary students, and adults.
