30 Minutes or Less (a Week): A Roadmap to Marketing Your Business for Beginners and Solopreneurs

Do you have time for marketing? Or is marketing the to-do that gets bumped, pushed off, or hidden away until you realize you’re not generating enough business? What if it only took 30 minutes a week? In this talk, we’ll look at how to do just that, sharing actionable to-dos you can complete on your own in as little as 30 minutes (or less) per week. You’ll leave with a marketing toolkit (e.g., resources and strategies) plus a four-week plan to get started that includes building (or improving) a website, creating a Google Business Profile, social media marketing, and Google Ads.

The 4-Week Plan You’ll Leave With:

  • Beginner Toolkit: marketing (and other) tools that will save you time and help you get started.
  • Week 1: Building (or improving) your website—how to create a website that works, quickly.
  • Week 2: Google Business Profiles 101—why they’re important, how they work, and how to create yours.
  • Week 3: Social media marketing—what really works, how to get started, and how to keep going.
  • Week 4: Paid ads and measuring success—how to start a Google Ads campaign; how to measure the success of all you’ve done so far.
