Town of Collingwood Job Fair
The Town of Collingwood is hosting a Job & Career Fair on Monday February 9, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Collingwood Public Library, 55 Ste. Marie Street, 3rd Floor, Community Rooms B & C.
- Attend the job fair meet with Town Staff and learn about current and upcoming job opportunities, learn about working for the Town, ask questions, and enjoy at light refreshment or snack.
- Bring your cover letter and resume and have an interview onsite or schedule one for a later date.
- Starting or growing a business? Attend to learn more about the SBEC Summer Company and Starter Company Plus grant programs, and the availability of small business support services!

Summer Company
If you’re a student (or know one) between the ages of 15 and 29 and you’ve always dreamed of being your own boss, Summer Company may be for you! Contact us to learn more about our 2026 program and how you could start your own business this summer.
Successful applicants will receive hands-on business training, expert mentorship, experience being their own boss and a grant of up to $3,000.

Starter Company Plus
Starter Company Plus is a great opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs 18 years or older who want to start or expand a business in their community. If accepted and offered a spot in the program, you’ll receive training and business skills development, advice and mentorship, and a grant of up to $5,000 to help start or expand a business.
