Victoria brands herself as a Georgian Bay photographer for the feminine entrepreneur and brides-to-be. For her, it’s not just about taking the photo. It’s about helping her clients tell their story in a way that feels comfortable, fun and on point with their brand. Through brand strategy and personalized packages, she makes this happen.

Passionate, knowledgeable and community centered is how we’d describe the mother daughter duo (Susan + Nicole) that is Bishop Botanicals. Bishop Botanicals is a local cruelty-free beauty brand that creates plant-powered face and body products aimed at empowering you to feel good from soul to skin.

Lindan Courtemanche, Owner and Mastermind behind this wicked Creemore based company has truly brought fun back into the kitchen with these incredible products. Alongside running a business, Lindan has been part of our 2021 Starter Company Plus cohort.
Starter Company Plus Spotlight: Alyssa and Deanne Service
Energetic, passionate and full of heart – three words to describe Alyssa and Deanne of Active Arts. Sisters and business partners, these two help people of all ages to be curious, carefree and have fun through the art of dance and movement. Located in Wasaga Beach, they have two spacious dance rooms that allow them to host programs, group classes and more.

Meet Krissi Hyland – Holistic Nutritionist, food enthusiast and member of our Starter Company Plus program.
If you’ve met Krissi, you’ll know that her personality lights up a room. She’s kind, fun, and always down to connect and learn about others. In the kitchen, she brings all of these amazing qualities to her clients. Through humorous and light-hearted Instagram reels and interactive virtual workshops, Krissi hopes to educate and inspire all to shop local and be more intentional about what is entering your pantry.

The South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre is pleased to welcome a new cohort of 2021 Starter Company Plus participants including Carrington Lauzon of eARTh Revival. eARTh Revival co-creates with nature by growing native plants that help our ecosystem thrive in hopes of regenerating our outdoor spaces. It just so happens that native plants are the solution! They aim to help gardeners and plant enthusiasts beautify their space while contributing to wildlife habitat and participating in biodiversity restoration and responsible land care.

Starter Company Plus Spotlight: Bruce Zigman
The South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre is pleased to welcome a new cohort of 2021 Starter Company Plus participants including Bruce Zigman who owns the new coffee bike shop Downtown Collingwood, Summit Social House. This is the first bike + coffee shop combo to come to Collingwood and the locals are loving it. A spot to grab a tune-up and a delicious latte all in one.
Summer Company Spotlight: Nathan Richter
GVR offers custom hoodies and t-shirts designed to make you look great and give back. Apparel can be purchased online through their online shop. 25% of profits will be donated to Plan International’s goat program that provides goats to families in third world countries to help with sustainable farming practices.

Sincerely Earth & Co. crafts one of a kind, handmade rings, bracelets, necklaces and a curated selection of nationally sourced crystals. They aim to educate customers on the materials used in hopes of increasing awareness on their origins and sentimental value.
